AUTHOR

VEERA MAHAJAN

Veera Mahajan is an author, producer, TEDx speaker, certified mediator, life coach, entrepreneur, publisher, and advocate for women's empowerment and peaceful families.

Veera earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wayne State University. She later followed her passion for human growth, relationships, and conflict resolution, she studied Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica and earned a Master's degree in Mediation and Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University School of Law.

Veera's professional journey spans business, media, mediation, writing, and advocacy. For more than two decades, she helped lead a successful software company before its eventual sale for $105 million and other business ventures. She later became the owner and publisher of Malibu Chronicle Magazine with a tag line, All Good News, using this platform to share stories, ideas, and issues that mattered to the community.

Her personal experiences and professional work eventually led her to writing three books. She is the author of three books: Domestic Abuse: Unreported Crime, The Mom Mediator: Creating Peace at Home Before Anger Takes Over, and her newest book, Raising Children Without Losing Each Other: How Couples Can Resolve Discipline Conflicts, Protect Their Relationship, and Raise Emotionally Healthy Kids. Her fourth book about her current chapter of life, is in print right now.

At the heart of Veera's work is a simple but powerful mission: to empower women to live life on their own terms — with courage, self-respect, independence, and peace — and to help families learn how to communicate, resolve conflict, and stay connected without hurting one another.

Drawing on her training in mediation, spiritual psychology, business leadership, and her own life experiences, Veera teaches that conflict does not have to destroy relationships. With the right communication and mediation skills, families can learn to disagree without becoming divided, parents can protect their children from unnecessary emotional wounds, and women can create lives that honor both the people they love and themselves.

Through her books, speaking, mediation, and advocacy, Veera hopes to inspire people to break unhealthy cycles, choose peace over conflict, and create relationships and lives built on respect, strength, compassion, and freedom.

The class as a whole mentioned that they value your contributions more than that of other professionals we spoke with, because you understand the issues intimately. You demonstrated the complexity of disentangling lives and how it shapes their relationships.
